Smart Cities Council today welcomes member organization Vantiq to the Asia Pacific regional chapter of the global ecosystem, working with SCC to partner with key industry leaders and solution providers to offer real-time AI solutions.
Vantiq is a GenAI-powered software platform for creating and operating intelligent systems that run anywhere, connect to anything and communicate seamlessly addressing critical challenges in real-time. These systems detect events like floods or accidents, analyze, understand and respond by guiding humans and machines with AI, generative AI and multiple agents.
Sameer Bhandari, Vice President of Asia Pacific at Vantiq, recently joined Smart Cities Council in Sydney Australia for the Digital Twin Built Summit. Taking to the stage, Bhandari shared insights into how the Built Environment and Asset Management sector can translate current digitalisation frameworks to drive AI integration enabling smart infrastructure, large scale adoption and the ability for cities to address critical challenges like urbanization, disaster management, and public safety through the integration of advanced technologies, redefining how cities operate.
“If we consider a future built environment as the convergence of cutting-edge tech, core placemaking principles, and the sustainable and safe delivery of resilient, accessible, infrastructure, Vantiq is a key teammate in what we have here—a coalition of the willing, working and actually delivering action and impact within this sector,” said SCC Regional Lead for APAC Robyn Francis during an intimate industry briefing following the event.
“A global movement is underway,” said Bhandari. “Digital transformation, automation, real-time intelligence, and event-driven AI decision-making are no longer just industry buzzwords—they are mission-critical imperatives. As we build the next generation of digital infrastructure and asset management solutions, the world's most advanced applications are emerging on our platform. From the King Abdullah Financial District and City of Opelika to NTT Data Japan, SoftBank, and United States Air Force, the smartest, most adaptive systems are powered by Vantiq—delivering intelligence where and when it matters most.”
