Smart Cities Council (SCC), is pleased to welcome SNAAP Transportation as a North American member.

SNAAP has developed a transformational personal rapid transportation solution, (PRT) that utilizes an elevated and dedicated ribbonway network with battery powered and solar-charged, single occupant mobility pods.

“SNAAP has re-imagined PRT, reducing congestion, reducing emissions and utilizing urban design and space not previously contemplated. I was pleased to meet SNAAP cofounder at our SCC Middle East launch in Dubai recently, and to have continued the conversation”, explained SCC President, Corey Gray. “Mobility is a critical urban constraint, and having solutions that bring an entirely new approach to areas where thinking is typically constrained by the status quo is important for SCC and particularly our public sector members and partners.”

“SNAAP Transportation listened carefully to government officials, transportation experts, industry leaders and stakeholders from around the world to help inform the design and engineering of our SNAAP Transportation personal rapid transit ecosystems.  Now, we are excited to share our SNAAP business model, prototype 1.0 and how smart cities can have a personal rapid transit system available to every person in their communities.”

SNAAP Transportation are Mobility Track Sponsor of Smart Cities Summit North America and will be exhibiting and presenting their solution which offer great value to delegations from the Middle East and Africa reconstructing cities and building new ones.
